OUR CUMMUNITY

Founded in 2012 by Ms. Zahra Goorangi, Mehr-e-Taban International School (MIS) is a vibrant educational community located in the picturesque Ghasrodasht District of Shiraz, Iran. Embracing diversity and international-mindedness, MIS serves learners from various cultures and backgrounds, offering education from kindergarten to Grade 12.

Our curriculum follows international standards, combining the International Baccalaureate programs (IBPYP, IBMYP, and IBDP) with the Ministry of National Education's requirements, ensuring broad and in- depth knowledge across subjects. The school's primary language of instruction is English, and we set high expectations for individual achievement while fostering an environment for personal growth and critical thinking.

With a focus on inclusivity, our Special Educational Needs (SEN) department provides tailored support for students requiring extra assistance. Our state-of-the-art facilities include two libraries, a well- equipped music room, and a high-tech ICT center, which incorporates cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence to enhance learning.

MIS boasts a community of around 200 students aged 6 to 18 and is actively involved in local and international events. We maintain collaborations with approximately 150 educators, conducting monthly workshops for teachers, parents, and students to promote continuous growth and development.

At Mehr-e-Taban International School, we prepare our learners for future academic success and instill them with a sense of social responsibility, equipping them for a dynamic world.

Our overarching goal at Mehr-e-Taban is to foster Transformative Education and nurture Global Citizens. Administrators, teachers, and staff are pivotal in guiding our students towards this transformative journey.
